Common questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most

Electrical work can be confusing. Here’s what you need to know before you call.

Are you registered and qualified?

Yes, we’re fully qualified electricians and registered with a recognised scheme (NICEIC/NAPIT). All work is Part P compliant and we issue proper certificates.

Do you provide certificates?

Absolutely. For every consumer unit change, rewire or new circuit, we provide an Electrical Installation Certificate. For landlords and sellers, we issue EICRs — fully compliant, so you’re legal and safe.

How much does an EICR cost?

EICR prices start from £180+VAT for a typical 3-bedroom house. The exact cost depends on the number of circuits and accessibility. We’ll quote after a quick chat.

Can you fit an EV charger?

Yes. We supply and install home chargers from brands like Pod Point and Zappi. A standard install takes 2-3 hours and we’ll handle any additional consumer unit work if needed.

How quickly can you come out?

For emergency faults — no power, burning smell, sockets sparking — we aim to be with you within 2-4 hours in Grantham. For non-urgent work, we can usually schedule within a few days.

What areas do you cover?

We cover Grantham and the surrounding villages — within a 10-mile radius, including Great Gonerby, Barrowby and Harlaxton. If you're further out, just call us.
